How to get there
Bac Lieu is about 290 km from Ho Chi Minh City center and takes about 5 hours by car. There are many ways you can get there. Guests can choose the reputable car operators such as Phuong Trang, Hoang Yen, Kim Yen…The fares are from 190,000 to 210,000VND.
From the North, you can go by air through the route of Hanoi – Can Tho, then take the bus to Bac Lieu via Phuong Trang, Tuan Hung, Vu Linh … The bus ticket price is from 80,000 to 100,000 VND, while the airfare is 1,900,000 – 2,700,000 VND. Total travel time is about 4.5 hours.
From the center of Bac Lieu city, you follow Cao Van Lau road to the sea, in the area of Bien Dong A village, Vinh Trach Dong village, you will come to the wind field. The distance from the city center to the factory is about 20 km, but from a distance of tens of kilometers, you can see the rotary turbine propeller rotating as the giants in the sky.
If you are hard working and want to enjoy all the beautiful dream road, then can ride a motorbike, just with Google Maps and follow the instructions, you will come here. If you want to save energy and time then you should take the passenger bus. The price of bus to Bac Lieu of large firms such as Phuong Trang, Thanh Buoi … ranges from 190,000 to 210,000VND.
After reaching the center of Bac Lieu, you will have to go about 20 km to reach this beautiful wind field. It is known that this field has a total of 62 windmills, each column is approximately 80m high. And the most interesting is that these windmills are so big that even if you stand tens of kilometers away, you can still see the windmills.
The road to the windy field is asphalted so you will not have much trouble when moving. Besides around the fanciful field is mangrove forest which makes the area more attractive.
The most beautiful time here is at 4pm. At this time, it is not too hot, but it is bright and cool enough to produce the most wonderful moment.
